Show secipe By ' Mrs. Herbert Hoover Spoon Bread 1 cupful of cornmeal, either white or yellow 1 cupful of sweet milk 2 cupfuls boiling water 1 or 2 eggs- Butter size of a walnut 1 teaspoonful of salt Put the meal in a saucepan and pour the boiling water on it. Add the salt and butter while cooking. Cook tliis for five minutes and stir constantly. Remove from stove and add, stirring the mixture, mix-ture, the milk and the eggs (which should have been well beaten). Bake in moderate oven for 30 minutes. min-utes. Use shallow pans.
