Show Convention Speakers Announced Bishop Joseph Christensen of the Salt Lake temple and Brothers Mark E. Peterson and James H. Wallace of the general board of the Genealogical Genealo-gical Committee will be speakers at the convention of the Genealogical workers cf the Alpine stake Sunday. Meetings will be held at 9:30 and 11 a. m. and at 2 p. m. Stake Chairman Chair-man Eli J. Clayson is desirous that all stake and ward committee members mem-bers and all interested in this work be in attendance at the convention meetings. He also issues a special invitation to the members of the Stake Presidency, High Council, Bishops and Counselors to meet with the Genealogical workers. A special message to the Junior Genealogical workers will be given at the afternoon session to which the general public is also invited. Former Bishop, John R. Hindley of the Third ward will be the speaker speak-er in that ward Sunday evening at 7:30. The meeting is arranged by the Genealogical committee who have asked Mrs. E. O. Maxfield and her boys to furnish the musical numbers. A short talk will be given by one of the ward boys who participated par-ticipated in the recent baptismal excursion at the Salt Lake temple. A demonstration for opening exercises ex-ercises will be given at. the union meeting of all ward and stake Mutual Mu-tual Improvement association workers work-ers to be held Monday, September 21, in the stake tabernacle. The program will be carried out as follows: fol-lows: Music, Mrs. Lottie Hammond; retold story, Mrs. Mable M. Nelson; reading, Mrs. Hannah Aydelotte: "Point of view on Life," George Scott; reading, Mrs. Iva Carlson; short address, Stanley Peters; scriptural scrip-tural reading, E. H. Boley; closing announcements, C. A. Grant. |
