Alpine News Mrs. L. Bates, Reporter Mr. and Mrs. Bryant Ashby of Nevada spent the week end with their daughter, Mrs. Maurice Healey, and family. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Gold of Salt Lake City were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. James W. Vance. Mrs. Muir of Logan is visiting at the home of her son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Milton B. Muir. The Snappy Stitchers 4-H club held their last meeting of the season, sea-son, August 27, at the home of Mrs. Marie Beck. They had two visitors, Lois Strong of Salt Lake City and Mary Matthews of Pleasant Grove. The girls have completed their work and report having enjoyed it very much. Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Bateman and baby of Salt Lake City were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bateman Bate-man Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Ferron Sager and children visited Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. James C. Healey. Mr. and Mrs. Sager and children left Sunday morning for Ogden where they will make their home and where Mr. S'ager will be employed with Sears-Roebuck and company, as manager of the rug and furniture department. Mr. and Mrs. Ellery Wild returned to their home here last week in order or-der for their son to enter school here. ,
