Show Names Of Prominent A. F. Women Go On Primary Election Ballot Mrs. Hannah C. Ashby, prominent promi-nent American Fork woman, has announced her candidacy for the Republican nomination for state representative. Mrs. Ashby has long taken an active ac-tive part in community enterprises and church work here. She is a member of the American Fork Public Pub-lic Library board, having served in this capacity for a number of years. She 'is a member of the Alpine stake Relief society board, teacher of the Gospel Doctrine class of the Third ward S"unday School, and a past president of the Y. W. M. I. A. For a number of years Mrs. Ashby engaged in teaching in Spanish Fork, working to the position of supervisor of the primary grades. Mrs. Ashby has been a leader in affairs in American Fork, having been associated with many civic projects. o Mrs. Mary K. Mower of American Fork announces her candidacy for state senator from Utah county on the Democratic ticket.
