Show Funeral Services For C. J. Goodall Elated Tomorrow POULTRYMAN PASSES AT HOSPITAL IN SALT LAKE Charles John Goodall, 59, prominent prom-inent American Fork poultryman died Wednesday in a Salt Lake City hospital, of stomach disorders which developed following a major operation. oper-ation. Mi-. Goodall was born in Salt Lake City, on August 2, 1879, a son of James and Frances A. Shiner Goodall, Goo-dall, ox cart pioneers of 1862. The family later moved to Santaquin In January, 190, Mr. Goodall married mar-ried Ellen Amelia Swenson, who died in November, 1904. He married Hannah Han-nah Caroline Swenson on September Septem-ber 9, 1905, and the couple made their home in Murray. Prior to locating here and enter- mg tne poultry industry, Mr. Goodall lived in Kimberly, Nevada, and Price and engaged in mining. Mr. Goodall was an active church worker. He filled a mission for the L. D. S. church in the Eastern states, from 1922 to 1924. At the time of his death he was active in Boy Scout, Aaronic priesthood and genealogical groups. Surviving are his widow; a son, Charles Alva Goodall of American Fork; five sisters and a brother, Mrs. Nettie Ohlin of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Adaline Edwards of El Monte, California; Mrs. Ivy A. Carlgren, Mrs. Fern Holman and Mrs. Ada Garity, all of Santaquin; and Parley Par-ley Goodall of El Monte, California. Funeral arrangements are under direction of Anderson Brothers mortuary. mor-tuary. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p. m. Saturday in the Third ward chapel. |
