Show New Recreation Activities Start For The Season The winter recreation program has opened, with activities planned for women, girls and children now under way. Groups have been organized as follows: Ladies Recreation Class The recreation class for women and girls will meet each Wednesday evening at 7 o'clock in the Harrington Harring-ton school playroom. The leaders have outlined a program of exercises with a variety of activities. All women wo-men and girls are invited, and the class is free. Ladies' Handicraft Classes The handcraft class will meet each Wednesday afternoon from 2 to 5 p. m., the place of meeting to be announced an-nounced later. A similar class also will be held Thursday evenings, from 7 to 9. At the start, the group will hammer boards and make tooled copper book-ends and letter holders. Those taking the class may make any kind of Christmas gifts or other articles they wish. There will be a very slight expense for mnlerlal. Pre-Sohool Handcraft Tots 4, 5, and 6 years old are enjoying en-joying two handcraft classes now under way. One is beinc given at the home of Mrs. Ellen Tracy, each Friday at 10 a. m. The other is at the home of Mrs. Hazel Wimmer, each Thursday at 10 a. m. Others will be started if there is demand, at homes centrally located for pcr-school pcr-school children of the neighborhood. r |
