Show Final Respect Paid Joseph Armstrong The Fourth ward chapel was well filled Sunday afternoon with people who gathered to pay their respects to the family of Joseph Armstrong at the funeral services held at I p. m. Bishop Lott Robinson was in charge of the services. Remarks were made by Stanley Peters, Leo T. Shelley and Bishop Robinson. John M. Klineman offered of-fered the opening prayer and William Will-iam J. Chadwick the benediction. Moral D. Steele sang "Face to Face", accompanied by Mrs. Ann Hansen, who was accompanist for the services. Mrs. Francis Erickson played a violin solo, "Abide With Me", Howard Nelson and Ray Shelley Shel-ley sang, "That Silver Haired Daddy of Mine", Leslie Smith and his daughter played a clairnet duet "Shubert's Serenade", and Mrs. La-Rue La-Rue Morton sang "My Faith In Thee." Interment was made in the City cemetery where the grave was dedicated dedi-cated by Warren Anderson. |
