Show Pleasant Grove Locals i Mrs. Norma Adamson and family are visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ole Christiansen. S. E. Huntsman, who has been visiting his family here returned to his work, at Las Vegas, Nevada, last Friday. Mr. and Mrs. A. N. Clawson and family of Salt Lake, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Wootton last week end. Miss Winnifred Fan- returned home Saturday from Salt Lake where she has been employed the past month. Dr. and Mrs. C. O. Jensen and family returned last Saturday evening eve-ning from a weeks trip to Yellowstone Yellow-stone Park. Mrs. John Baxter was operated on Saturday for goitre at the L. D. S. hospital in Salt Lake City, at last report she is getting along nicely. Mrs. Margaret Donkin of Salt Lake City is visiting this week with her relatives Mrs. Janet Smith and family and Mrs. Ferry Nielson. Mr. and Mrs- J. C. Kindred left Tuesday for an auto trip through Yellowstone Park. Mr. and Mrs, J. C. Kindred are enjoying a trip through Yellowstone Park this week. Miss June Oler of Salt Lake is visiting this week with her grandmother, grand-mother, Mrs. Adeline Nelson. Miss Anna Nelson of California, is visiting indefinitely with her father, Jens R. Nelson. Mrs. Hazeldell Gillnran came home the last of the week from the j hospital at Price, where she has been '. since the automobile accident July 1, , which happened in Carbon Co. Mrs. I Gillman was severely injured. ; Lettie Houston, Martha Canham and Mrs. Ruby Atwocd, of Crescent, ; left last Thursday for Magrath ; Canada, to visit indefinitely with ;Mrs. Houston's sister, Mrs. Julia Mr. and Mrs. Harold Peay will move to Magna in the near future Mr. Peay being employed by the Cooper Dairy Farm company at Hunter. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Hawkins and son, Gordon, of Provo, have been visiting part of the week with Mrs. Hawkins parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. D. West. ' Mr. and Mrs. Walter Mason of Rexburg, Idaho, are visiting with Mr. Masons mother, Mrs. Kate ! Mason Hayes. Mr- and Mrs. Albert Olson announce an-nounce the birth of a baby boy, born July 26. She returned home Sunday, Sun-day, accompanied by Miss Maxine Walker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mr. and Mrs. John Holten of I California, are visiting indefinitely at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Burns. Mrs. Holten was formerly Miss Hyacinth Burns. The "Bean Gang" part of a group of 184 listed pickers, will enjoy a swim at Saratoga this afternoon. E. A. Beck and J. D. Thome will be in charge of the group. Mr. and Mrs. James H. Walkei Benjamin and Emma Walker, returned re-turned recently from a business and pleasure trip to San Francisco and points cf interest enroute. Nelson, while ; riding a bicycle last Friday, caught her foot on a wire and the bicycle , ran into the fence. She fell on herj head in a ditch of water knocking i her unconscious. Schopenhnt Mrs. Mary C. Anderson celebrated her 80th birthday Thursday, July 26. Ten lady friends near her own age spent the afternoon at her home where her son A. C. Andersen and family of Provo, and her granddaughters, grand-daughters, Mrs. Twilla Evans and Mrs. R. G. Proctor, assisted in the entertaining. Refreshments were served. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph West.
