Any-oae, Any-oae, r.-ga rdle.a; of age or experience, who viishes to enter this tournament must register with Stanford Briggs by 10 o'clock Monday morning. Tournament Tour-nament matches have right of way on flic court at ail hours of the clay until un-til tho matches are finished. Thursday, July 25,' the mens' junior tournament begins. First round matches for this event must be finished finish-ed by Saturday night, July 27. Juniors are to register with David Walker by 10 o'clock Wednesday evening, July 24. All boys under IS years of age are eligible for the Junior class The ladies' matches commence Monday, July 29, and first round matches are to bo completed by the following Wednesday evening. All girls and women desiring to enter this first ladies championship tennis tournament are to register with Violet Vio-let Preston before Monday, July 29. The following referees have been designated to act as officials during the tournament. These officials are requested to report scores and winners win-ners to the committee immediately after each match: Grant Ingersoll, Stanford Briggs, Bernard Walker, LaBellc Ingersoll, Earl Chadwick, . Chris Scott, David Walker and Lee Eddy, arbitrator. After the singles tournament is completed, a double tournament will he run as follows: Mens' seniors, mens' juniors, womens and mixed doubles. To stimulate interest in tennis an effort is being made to get "Buck" and "Sanky" Dixon of Provo to come-to come-to American Fork and put on an exhibition ex-hibition match. These boys are th-e 192S doubles title holders of the In-termountain In-termountain 'district and should well demonstrate the various strokes and positions o tennis. |
