Show Am. Fork Locals The Home and Community group met at the home of Mrs. C. LaFleur Friday, October 28, at 2 p. m. Business Busi-ness and election of officers took up the session. Officers chosen were Mrs. C. LaFleur, chairman; Mrs. J. A. Bun ten, vice chairman; Mrs. F. Diamond, secretary; Mrs. Reed H. Robinson, two-year adviser; Mrs. Mary K. Mower, one-year adviser; and Mrs. H. Brooks, reporter. The group plans to meet in the city hall, at 2 p. m., November 11. The officers offi-cers announced: "Everybody welcome; wel-come; bring your friends." ; Mr. and Mrs. Vern Holindrake and Mr. and 'Mrs. Roy Okey were Salt Lake City visitors, Tuesday. Tuesday is work and business day for the Fourth ward Relief society, it was announced iWednesday. Two quilts will be made during the afternoon, af-ternoon, and all members of the society so-ciety are invited to foe in attendance. Joseph W. Miller of Sclpio is visiting visit-ing at the home of his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John H. Miller. Mrs. Joseph Miller is a patient at the American Fork Community Com-munity hospital. Roy Steele has been removed from the Holy Cross hospital to his home here. He recently underwent an operation op-eration at the hospital, but is now reported to be doing as well as can be expected. Mrs. Leon Parduhn was hostess to members of the Young Bridge club at her home last Friday. The afternoon af-ternoon was spent playing bridge, j Mrs. Earl Chadwick; winning high i score prize and Mrs. Dave Warnick j the consolation award. Mrs. Lucille Parduhn was a special guest. ' |
