Show Mrs. Louis Garrett of Nephi visited visit-ed two days early in the week with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Allen. . Mrs. R. L. Mrs. June Wright and Miss Amy Shelley returned Saturday after spending a week at Blanding with Mrs. Glen A. Wright. Miss Helen Ellison is visiting in Cedar City with Miss Atha Merri-wether. Merri-wether. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Ellison and Beth and Joan Ellison will leave for Cedar City tomorrow to get Helen, Hel-en, and together they will continue to the national parks in Southern Utah. The Ellisons also will visit with Mr. Ellison's sister, Mrs. William Wil-liam Merriwether, in Cedar City. Mrs. Eyrl Bowers of Nephi visited this week with Mrs. John Robinson. Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Young of Salt Lake City visited Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jarvis Ayde-lotte. Ayde-lotte. Luther Giddings and Mrs. Ruthe G. Clark spent Wednesday in Logan on business, and Miss Irene Giddings spent the day in Provo. Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Carey and children Betty Ann and Phile, of Los Angeles, are visiting at the home of Mrs. Carey's sister, Mrs. Jarvis Aydelotte. Mr. and Mrs. John W. Myers have returned from the Uintah basin, where they enjoyed a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth J. Myers. Mrs. John Robinson entertained the Sorosis club at a bridge party Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Kenneth J. Bird won the high score prize, and Mrs. Walter Devey the low score favor. Mrs. C. B. Halliday won the guest prize. Guests were Mrs. Halliday Halli-day and Mrs. Sidney "W. Nicholes. Mrs. Hans Christensen and Mrs. A. W. Clyde were hostesses to the Ladies Literary club at the Clyde home Thursday afternoon. Mrs. Harold Walker of Pleasant Grove l gave a book review at the meeting. The Misses Naomi Brown, Ann Parker, Dora Hunsaker and Edith Wright spent the week-end at the Clayson cabin in American Fork canyon. . Mrs. George Hunter and Mrs. Charles Peck entertained Saturday, August 27, for Mr. Alva Greene and Miss Ruth Beach who were married September 1 in the L. D. S. temple in Salt Lake City. The young couple cou-ple will leave immediately for New York where they will make their home. Mr. Greene is the grandson of Alva A. Greene of this city.
