Show Mothers and Daughters Party Planned All Mothers and Daughters of the First ward will be entertained on Monday evening, August 21st, at the ward chapel. This party is one of the siunmer recreational events sponsored by the M. I. A. A committee com-mittee consisting of Mrs. Arthur McAllister, chairman; Mrs. J. L. Dunkley. Miss Selma Seastrand and Miss Emma Southworth, representing represent-ing the mothers and daughters of the ward, with Mrs. Wilson Cunningham, Cunning-ham, Y. L. M. I. A. activity chairman, chair-man, met the first of the week and outlined the plans for the social. Sub-committees were appointed and the affair promises to be the biggest big-gest of this kind held in the ward. The evening's program will consist con-sist of an hour's program, which will include a playlet directed by Mrs. Cunningham and Miss Sea-: Sea-: strand; a tribute to the mothers by ' a daughter and a response by a mother, community singing, and several musicar selections Games and stunts will follow and refreshments refresh-ments will be served. An invitation is being extended to all women of the ward and to all girls above the age of thirteen to be in attendance. -o |
