The Lindon ward will hold their annual Old Folks day and ward reunion re-union on Washington's birthday. Mr. 'and Mrs. H. C. Robertson were guests of Salt ' Lake relatives Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Archie Boren ' returned Saturday from a three weeks' visit with her son and' daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. LaVell Boren, at Nor-walk, Nor-walk, California. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Nelson and baby and James A. Nelson spent Wednesday and Thursday in Salt Lake City with Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Carter and family. The Old Folks Committee of the Lindon ward are planning to entertain enter-tain the Old Polks of the ward on Washington's birthday, February 22. The Boy Scouts of the Second ward will hold their annual Fathers and Sons banquet next Saturday evening in the Second ward chapel. A fine program will be enjoyed by the fathers and sons. Ray Mills, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Mills, is out of school this week suffering with rheumatism. i The Genealogical organizations of the Timpanogos stake held their regular meetings Thursday night. Mrs. Martha Canham spent the week-end in Salt Lake City with her daughter, Mrs. J. A. Morgan, and family. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Foutz announce the birth of a granddaughter. The parents are Mr. and Mis. Don Boulter Boul-ter of Los Angeles, California. Mr. and Mrs. Claude E. Hayes of Salt Lake City, were guests Wednesday Wednes-day of their mother, Mrs. Rose B. Hayes. Golden Peay, who has recently been operated on for appendicitis at the L. D. S. hospital, in Salt Lake City, came home Tuesday. " Miss Ruth Fage, a nurse at the L. D. S. hospital, was a guest Tuesday Tues-day of her mother, Mrs. Mary. B. Fage, and other local relatives. Mrs. Jennie Smith and family visited visi-ted in Midway Sunday with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Morris Buhler. A meeting of the cooperative organizations or-ganizations of the Windsor ward was held Thursday evening at 8 p. m. at the ward chapel. Mr. String-ham String-ham and Mr. Green of Salt Lake City, and Dr. Hugh W. Woodward of Provo, were the speakers. Grant Walker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawerence Walker, has been called to fill a mission in California. He expects to leave early in March., The Sunday School of the Lindon Lin-don ward will hold a dancing party tonight in the Lindon Hall. The Daughters of the Pioneers held their regular monthly meeting Thursday at the home of Mrs. James D. Thorne. Mrs. Thomas Fenton accompanied her brother, Ray Butler, to Payson Sunday to visit with their mother, Mrs. Thomas Wright. J. W. Gillman was in Salt Lake City Tuesday to attend a meeting of the Welfare Board of the state. He will leave Saturday for a business trip to Berkeley, California. It has been reported that Don Monson, son of Niels L. Monson, Whittaker Roundy, son of Samuel Roundy, and two Dalton boys, sons of Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Dalton, have I joined the U. S. Army and will be stationed at Fort Douglas, Salt Lake City. Sheridan Cragun, son of Bertha Parkham Cragun and Hyrum J. Cragun, left Monday for the mission mis-sion home in Salt Lake City. He will leave soon for the Northwestern States mission. A testimonial will be given next Sunday evening, February Feb-ruary 16, in his honor at the Windsor Wind-sor ward chapel. Word was recently received by Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Cragun that their son, W. Rumel Cragun, was in the Western hospital at Toronto, Canada, Cana-da, convalescing from an operation for hernia and appendicitis. President Presi-dent Abel S. Rich of the Canadian Mission, in an air mail letter reports re-ports Elder Cragun doing nicely. All children under 12 years of age will be entertained in the afternoon, and all over 12 will enjoy an evening's entertainment. entertain-ment. There will be a one-uct play by the Relief Society and one by the Primary association. There will be other program numbers and dancing. A basket lunch will be enjoyed. All ward members and former ward members are invited. The Stake Presidency and clerk, bishoprics of the six wards of the Timpanogos Stake, high councilmen and partners, will hold a social in the Third ward chapel, February 17. The social will consist of a program, games, dancing and refreshments. Mr. and Mrs. James H. Walker and Mr. and Mrs. R. D. Wadlcy are the committee in charge of this annual affair. Mrs. Glade Linebaugh entertained at a bridge luncheon last Thursday evening. After the luncheon the evening was spent in playing bridge. The prize was won by Mrs. C. L. Wright, Mrs. Orson Lee receiving the consolation prize. Those present were, Mrs. William Partington, Mrs. Glen Wadley, Mrs. Harold Smith, Mrs. Howard Ferguson, Mrs. C. R.
