Show ThiroMVard Play Success Under the able direction of Lucile H. Walker, the three-act play entitled en-titled "Big Hearted Herbert," was presented by the Third ward to a capacity house Saturday evening, In the High School Auditorium. Vance West, as Big Hearted Herbert, Her-bert, the grouch, was especially good, as was his wife Elizabeth, a meak humble homemaker, Mrs. Walker. Leone Told as Hilda, the maid, and Junior Newman as Robert, the mis-chievious mis-chievious young son added muci to the evening's entertainment. The entire cast is to lie congratulated congratu-lated for their interest and devotion to their particular part in the play, which was made manifest in the manner in which the play was pro-tented. Much credit is due those who were responsible for the decorating and arrangement of the stage which was a beautiful combination living room and dining room. The audience was very appreciative and enjoyed the comedy from start to fini.sh. Mrs. Walker deserves special mention men-tion because of having played the leading ladies role, and also directed the play. The casts appreciation for Mrs. Walker's hard work and untiring un-tiring efforts was cxpn.-s- ed by presenting pre-senting her with a beautiful potted plant.
