Show Impressive Services Serv-ices Held for Ruby Monson Beautifully impressive were the funeral services held Friday afternoon after-noon in the Manila ward chapel for Mrs. Ruth May Monson, wife of Ivan Monson, and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Warnick. The house was filled to capacity with relatives and friends and the floral offerings were profuse and beautiful. Bfahop H. V. S'wenson presided at the services and Counselor Merrill N. Warnick conducted. The opening open-ing prayer was offero-d by Frank. Meredith of Salt Lake City. Speakers who told of her lovable nature, her devotion to her husband, hus-band, children and parents, her usefulness use-fulness in church duties were Bishop Hilga V. Swenson, President Wil-ford Wil-ford W. Warnick, Bishop Lawrence M. Atwood .nd John Whitby of Alpine. Al-pine. Counselor Warnick, who spoke in closing, voiced the gratitude of the family for the many kindnesses shown them during their sorrow. Musical numbers coasisted of two vocal numbers, "Rock of Ages" and "Going Home," ty Mrs. Ora Chip-man Chip-man of American Fork, accompanied accompan-ied by Mrs. Inez McDonald; two vocal duets, "Unanswered Yet" and "Whispering Hope" by Mrs. Maur-ine Maur-ine Allen and Mrs. Ruth Swenson. The benediction was offered by Ez- ra J. Swenson. Interment was made in the Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove City cemetery, where Lynn Gardiner of Salem, an uncle of the deceased, dedicated the grave. I o |
