Show o High School News EDNA ANDERSON, Reporter Friday afternoon a pep assembly was held at which the following program pro-gram was presented: Duet, Wayne C. Booth and Mack Cunningham, entitled "My Wild Days Are Over"; dance, Jennae Baird; stunt, written by May Whitby and Iona Smith, entitled en-titled "Trails of a Basketball Hero," and stunt music by the band- Clarence Clar-ence Grant gave a talk on how to be a good winner. It is a school tradition that Mr. Grant give a talk in assembly on the day American Fork plays basketball with Lehi- The Future Farmers of American Fork reorganized February 20. The following officers were elected: President, Pres-ident, Evan Bair; vice president, Ernest Er-nest Reim ch iisse 1; secretary, Myron Burgess; watch dog, William Shel-ton; Shel-ton; reporter, Arden Spencer. Wednesday evening the members of the R,ed party were given a banquet ban-quet by the White party. The Red and White parties are groups of students stu-dents who contested for year book subscriptions, the lo.sing side to give a banquet to the winners. |
