Show Cast Completed For Fifth Stake Xmas Pageant The cast for the fifth annual Christmas pageant has been chosen and rehearsals are well under way for what will no doubt prove to be the most interesting pageant yet presented in American Fork. Mrs. Josephine Goff, another of the pageant page-ant "The Quest", will be in American Fork to direct the rehearsal on Sun-' Sun-' day afternoon. The theme of "The Quest" is most appropriate for this season of the year when so many of our thoughts and so much of our time is spent in ! gift buying and giving. The story of . ' The Quest" brings our thoughts to the real meaning of Christmas and why this season of the year should be a time of thanksgiving and rejoicing. re-joicing. The stage which is composed of two platforms, one somewhat higher than the other, is already in place. Special scenery and drapes have been secured from Salt Lake in order to secure the proper staging effects, j Special lighting effects are being installed and the lighting this year will be different than that used in previous years. The general chairmen and the members of the various committees are working hard and are sparing no effort to make this pageant the best yet presented. The interest in American Fork and the surrounding communities is high and it Is expected ex-pected that the pageant will be presented pre-sented to a capacity house on Christmas morning. Arch Angels Kenneth Hunter and Wendell Kirkpatrick. Reader Russell Humphreys. Accompaniest Howard Paxman. Music Leaders Mrs. West Hamr-mond Hamr-mond and K. J. Bird. Angels Lola Hansen, Glee Smith, Arvilla Cunningham, Beth Green, Theresa Mitchell, Donna Lue Davis, Helen Smith, Dorothy Greenwood and Jean Parker. Singing angels are Mildred Chipman, Dessie Wilde, Fern Robinson, Rob-inson, Fern Kelly, Melissa Robinson, Grace Parker, Selma Seastrand and Helen Parker. The Garland Bearers are Dorothy. Doro-thy. Chipman, Opal Dickerson, Mau-rine Mau-rine Edwards, Jane Earl, LaPriel Parduhn, Carla Varney, Raola Draper, Dra-per, Arlin Peters, Ruth Bird, Colleen Col-leen Robinson, Elaine Brown, Beverly Bever-ly Graff, Vera Schoell Gladys Grant, Joyce Hansen, Flora May Barratt, Elaine Adamson, Joyce Singleton, Carol Boley, Shirley Beck, Chloe Bennett, Jeanne Baird, Louise Beck, Donna Pratt, Leona Pratt and Leora Dean. The Heavenly Hosts will be represented by the Alpine stake choir, which is composed of about 70 voices, under the direction of K. J. Bird. |
