Show Special Xmas VVard Programs Arranged Programs carrying out the Christmas Christ-mas theme are being planned by the M. I. A. officers in all four of the American Pork wards for next Tuesday Tues-day night. The First ward has planned a party and program consisting con-sisting of Christmas stories and songs. Several instrumentals are being prepared for the event. A huge Christmas tree will be set up and decorated and Santa Claus will be present to add to the fun. The Second ward officers have planned ia program and dance at which Santa Claus will be present. A decorated tree" will add to tho festivities. A group of young people in the Third ward have been practicing and will present some Christmas carols I along with the following program: I piano duet, Jean Shipley and Mary Robinson and a Christmas story I from the First year Bee-hive class. After the program the carolers will tour the ward and sing some of the many Christmas carols for the benefit ben-efit of those who are not able to attend at-tend Mutual. A hot supper will be served after the caroling. The following program has been arranged by the officers of the Fmrth ward: A one-act play, "Santa's "San-ta's Toy Shop," by the second year Bee-hive class; a one-act play from the junior class; a musical number by Mrs. Maxfield Ufd her three children; a stunt by the Gleaner girls; group singing of Christmas songs led by Ora H. Chipman and some xylophone selections by Anna and Roy Fugal of Pleasant Grove. Santa Claus will call sometime during dur-ing the evening. o |
