Show Lions Glnl) Organized In Pleasant Grove A unit of (the International Lions Clubs was organized in Pleasant Grove at a meeting held at the Thornton Thorn-ton Cabaret Monday evening. The following fol-lowing officers and board of directors were elected to direct the Club: President, Elroy West; first vice-president vice-president John McFarlane; second rice-president, Clarence , Hill; third vice-president, A. P. Warnick; secretary-treasurer, J. 0. Clark; tail twister, Rulon S. Dixon; Lion tamer, Ford M. Poulson; music director, Melvin Grant. Other board members elected were: Howard N. Thome, J. L. Theobald, S. A. Kirk, Alton. Clark and Berit Bezzant. Application has been made to the International Lions Headquarters at Chicago for their charter. Charter night will be held the second Wednesday Wed-nesday in December. A committee has been appointed to take charge of this' night Leo Hansen, former district troy.. ernor, Dr. G. S- Richards, president of the American Fork Lions Club and Vern Walker, secretary of the American Ameri-can Fork Lions Club, were present and aided in the organization. I o |
