Show Ten Years Ago Now (Taken from files of June 19, 1926) In the National Window display contest recently finished, the American Ameri-can Fork Co-op., with Frank De-Bray De-Bray as decorator, was awarded 4th prize. The window displayed Bee Vac Cleaners during Better Homes Week and in competition with hundreds hun-dreds of big department stores throughout the nation was adjudged a winner. Ten Years Ago Now As work progresses at the Real art Theatre it becomes more apparent that our city is to have one of the best small theatres in the entire state. The new improvements includes in-cludes a new stage with curtains and equipment, projection machine, main floor space increased, balcony built across the south end of the house, a new screen and hot air heating and ventilating system, John Miller has just bought the theatre and will manage it in the future. Ten Years Ago Now Work was started on the foundation founda-tion of the new modern home of W. S. Chipman on West Main street this week. This will be one of American Amer-ican Fork's most beautiful homes and its completion is anxiously awaited, not only by the Chipman family but the public in general. Ten Years Ago Now Announcement Is made by Mrs. Heber Barratt of the marriage of her daughter, May, to Eslle Bennett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bennett, Ben-nett, which took place in Salt Lake Monday. Ten Years Ago Now Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bush entertained enter-tained at a wedding reception Thursday night in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Adams. Mrs. Adams was Miss Berniece Bush before her mar-1 mar-1 riage. |
