Show Am. Fork News Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth McDonald were visitors in Provo Tuesday, combining business with pleasure. Mesdames Ed. Larsen of Lehi, A. F. Gaisford Jr., L. A. Adamson and Laurence Briggs spent the afternoon after-noon Wednesday with Mrs. Thomas Coddington. N. A, Wing, Mrs. Ora Chipman and Miss LOlie Shatter attended a meeting in Provo Wednesday night in connection with the local Red Cross relief work. Fifteen of the nimble fingered members of the Fourth ward Relief Re-lief Society met Monday night at the home of Mrs. Earl S. Greenwood Green-wood in a quilting. After the completion com-pletion of their task, the ladies were served a tasty lunch. Mrs. Donald H. Stubbs and children child-ren of Provo, spent last Saturday here visiting with Mrs. Stubbs mother, Mrs. William R. Hansen and family. Monday Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Spaf-ford Spaf-ford and Mrs. William R. Hansen motored to Provo and spent the day, combining business with pleasure. pleas-ure. Mrs. Sadie Henry of Salt Lake, spent last Sunday here visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Handley Sr. Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Culbertson of Provo, spent Tuesday Tues-day here with Mrs. Culbertson's parents. Friends here of Mrs. Martha Chipman, who is spending the winter win-ter in Salt Lake, will be glad to learn that she is feeling much better bet-ter and that the arm which she broke in a fall recently is doing welL Ray Kirkham leaves today for Minneapolis after an extended' visit here with relatives. Mrs. Kirkham and daughter will remain here a little while longer and will join him there later. The Sunday School officers and teachers of the Fourth ward held their regular -monthly officers meeting meet-ing at the home of Leigh Ingersoll Wednesday night. Business pertaining per-taining to .the organization was taken care .'. of, . after which social chat, was enjoyed, and refreshments served. Cecil Ray Hansen, son of Mr. and Mrs. William R. Hansen, celebrated his twelfth birthday Tuesday afternoon after-noon by having a birthday party. Eighteen of his little friends were present and enjoyed themselves in playing games after which Mrs. Hansen served a dainty lunch. St. Patrick symbols were used in decorations decor-ations and added to the enjoyment of the occasion. |
