Show Alpine News Mrs. Leonard Bates, Reporter Reed Burgess, son of Mrs. Jessie ! Burgess, left Thursday of last week for the Eastern States Mission, the same mission in which his father, the late Clarence Burgess, labored twenty-five years ago. Mrs. Ira Peterson and children of Salt Lake, are visiting with Mrs. Peterson's father, Mr. S. O. Strong. Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Baxter of Salt Lake, were Sunday guests of Mrs. Baxter's parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. J. Strong. ' Mr. and Mrs. Omer Hall end daughter, Vonda, of Magna, were Sunday guests of Mrs. Hall's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Healey. Mrs. D. J. Strong is ill at her home here. Her many friends hope for her speedy recovery. ! ' A fine baby son was bom to Mr. and Mrs. John Q. Adams last week. Mrs. Adams and the new arrival are" at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Brems of Lehi, and are reported report-ed doing nicely. ' Marjcrie 11-year-old daughter of Mrs. Madelene Wilkin, had the misfortune mis-fortune ,to break her left arm near the wrist Sunday afternoon while roller skating on the cement walk at their home. |
