Show Missionaries Of German Field To Organize Branch On Sunday, February 18, a special meeting for all returned German missionaries was held in Provo. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss dis-cuss plans for forming a branch organization of the German Missionary Mis-sionary Association, the headquarters headquart-ers of which are in Salt Lake City. The organization in 'Provo would include all surrounding communities. communi-ties. This association includes German Ger-man missionaries of all ages. The aim is to sponsor activities which will keep them in contact with each other and continue old friendships of the mission field. This association's associa-tion's activities have met with great success where it has been organized up to the present time. Special visitors at the meeting were C. Hampton Price, president of the association; Fred G. Taylor, secretary; and several others who are active in the association in Salt Lake City. The plan for organization organiza-tion was presented to the Provo group, which included representatives representa-tives from many years back. A. Smith Pond, professor of Business Administration at the Brigham Young University; Walt Hiller, business bus-iness manager and John W. Dean, student, all representatives from different dif-ferent periods of service in the mission mis-sion field, will direct activities until i future organization is made. Recently, representatives . from; the association in Salt Lake City have visited Ogden and Logan to hold meetings of similar nature. At some date in the near future, the Presidency of the association will return to complete organizing the association. |
