Show Carload Of New Ford Tractors To Arrive In A. F. Harold Holley, north Utah county dealer for the new Ford tractor with Ferguson system joined other dealers deal-ers from all over the state in a meeting at Salt Lake City, Saturday, Satur-day, which bids fair to make agricultural agri-cultural history. The dealers will take delivery of an entire train load of Ford farm tractors, Mr. Holley said. A special train bringing the consignment of tractors arrived in Salt Lake City the day of the meeting from the Rouge plant of the Ford Motor Company at Dearborn, Michigan. The dealers gathered for a day's program sponsored by the Arnold Machinery Company, Inc., distributors distribu-tors for the new tractors, and conducted con-ducted by personnel from the Ferguson-Sherman Manufacturing Corporation's Cor-poration's main office, Dearborn, distributors. The dealers heard a complete presentation pre-sentation of manufacturing and sales plans for the coming year. Highlight of the sales program is an "on the farm" demonstration plan, i " 'On the farm demonstration' is a basic policy," said Mr. Holley. "The Ford tractor with Ferguson system and wheelless implements is going to change things on the farm. It introduces an entirely new system of mechanized farming and accomplishes accom-plishes things which have never before be-fore been thought possible. It will effect a departure in agriculture as radical as the revolution in transportation trans-portation brought about by the famous fam-ous Model T. All we ask is a chance to show the farmer what the new system will do on his own farm." |
