Show I RED CROSS ORGANIZED j AXD DRIVE BEGINS At a meeting of church and civic leaders held Friday evening. January Janu-ary 5th, the following people w?re chosen to take charge of the drive for Timpanogas stake. Ernest Clay- , the Timpanogos stake. Ernest Clayton, Clay-ton, chairman; M. S. Christiansen. 'secretary; Manila, Ezra J. Swenson: : Third ward, Wilford Neves and ! Idella Walker; Second ward. Baril : Walker and Millie Poulson; First ward, Arthur Kooyman and Frank 1 Nelson; Lindon, Miss Thelma Gill-man Gill-man and Kenneth Harris; Windsor. Alex Lowe and James Marriott. j The allotment for Timpancgos stake has been raised to $150 and j every family will be glad to do their i bit for those so unfortunate as to j lose homes and in many cases all i of their property. Membership in the Red Cross organization or-ganization will cost $1.00, half of this to go to the city in which it is taken out and the other half to the National Red Cross organization. It is hoped and expected that all will donate their large or small amount; membership dues may be paid to those in charge at any time. For some time past this cause has been dropped in our community, and those in charge hope to work up another an-other chapter of the Red Cross. o |
