Show Manila Ward To Enjoy Mutual Dell Outing The Manilla ward is planning an interesting program for the annual ward outing to Mutual Dell, July 31 and August 1 and 2. On Monday a short hike will bs enjoyed up the trail to Bear Canyon. Can-yon. Mr. Croft, guide at the Timpanogos Tim-panogos Cave Camp, will be present pres-ent at the program Monday evening where he will present a motion picture pic-ture program. Tuesday the annual Father's and I Son's and M. I. A. hike to Timpan-jogos Timpan-jogos will take place. They anticipate antici-pate leaving early Tuesday morning. morn-ing. A Bonfire Program featuring "Early Days in Utah," will be given that evening. An Indian Fire-ligfiting Fire-ligfiting ceremonial, under the direction di-rection of Ixuraine and Mildred Swenson, will be the beginning number. A quartet consisting of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Pulley, Maurine Monson, and Grant Atwood, will sing the songs: "High on the Mountain Moun-tain Top," and "Come, Come Ye Saints." Nephi L. Morris of Salt Lake City will deliver a short address relating relat-ing events of interest in our early history. A group dressed in pioneer costumes cos-tumes will dance a Plain Quadrille as the concluding number. The program will be followed by dancing in the Dell. The Manilla M. I. A. officers extend ex-tend an invitation to those who desire de-sire to enjoy part or all of this outing out-ing with them. o i |
