Show Pageant Draws Large Crowd The third annual early mornin Christmas pageant held in the stake taboriv.u-le Tut-.day morning was very largely attended. For over an luuir, cmineneing soon after 6 o'clock and ending just as dawn was breaking, the large crowd gave rapt attention to the story of the prophecies prophe-cies and their fulfillment concerning the coming of the Saviour as un-1 folded in tableau and music. A special elevated stage had been constructed together with stage draperies dra-peries which together with the special spec-ial lighting effects added materially to the production. A largo cast took part in the pageant page-ant which was presented smoothly a.nd in a manner pleasing to all who saw it, A special chorus of mixed voices, solo numbers and selections by a string ensemble were important in the success of the pageant. The program, sponsored by the , stake M. I. A. officers has been com-j com-j mended highly by all who saw it and ; the townspeople would feel Christmas Christ-mas was not complete without the inspiration the affair lends. With so much gaity prevalent during the holidays hol-idays there are many W'ho appreciate the opportunity of attending something some-thing of a serious nature which gives the real significance of the day and this annual pageant has come to fill that need. The community is indebted to these tireless men and women who devoted time and talent in putting it over. An extra Christmas touch was given giv-en by the huge wreath fashioned of pine boughs tied with a large red bow and lighted with vari-color bulbs which was placed over the west entrance of the building and gave a cheery welcome to all who passed beneath. |
