Show I Funeral Services For Thomas H. Hillman Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p . m. in the Second ward chapel ove the remains of Thomas H. Hill-mar., Hill-mar., who died Thursday morning after an illness of several years. Dr. C. O. Jensen counselor in the Second Sec-ond ward bishopric was in charge. A string trio was rendered by Mrs. Lavona Jensen. Mrs. Martha Jones and Mrs. Elna Clark. The invocation invoca-tion was given by John R. Halliday followed by a solo, "Not Understood" bv May R. Walker. Ezra F. Walker, a boyhood friend of the deceased told of their life together to-gether as boys, and the good times enjoyed in early manhood. Dr. L. N. Ellsworth of Salt Lake spoke of the wonderful family . life of Mr. Hillman, and his great love for his children and grandchildren. Stake President W. W. Warnick spoke of the generosity, dependability and i faith of Mr. Hillman in his last days on earth. Other musical numbers were a duet, "Cast Thy Bread Upon the Waters", by Leland Clark and Mrs. C. O. Jensen, and a duet, "Face to Face" by Stem Hardman and Viola Beers. The invocation was pronounced pro-nounced by James D. Thorne. Interment was made in Pleasant Grove City cemetery, where the grave was dedicated by Ervine F. Smith. |
