o Miners Come Out Of Canyon Willard Cleghorn and twelve miners min-ers shut down the Yankee mine operations op-erations and came out of the canyon can-yon last Thursday. They have been at the property since Christmas but due to the deep snow, danger of slides and the closing of the road to Deer Creek it was felt that operations op-erations must be discontinued until spring. Ore shipments have been going forward until February when the deep snow made it impossible to keep the upper part of the road to Deer Creek open. They now have some 200 tons of ore in the bins at Deer Creek which cannot be moved until spring breaks the hold of winter win-ter in the canyon, pnobably some time in April. .
