Show Mrs. Aldura Ashton Called By Death Funeral Services Today Mrs- Aldura Ashton, 73, passed away Monday at noon, at tire home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Hug-gard, Hug-gard, in American Fork, following a prolonged illness. Mrs. Ashton had been an invalid for over twenty twen-ty years, suffering with rheumatism. rheuma-tism. Mrs. Ashton was born April 21, 1862, in Lehi, the daughter of Hans and Julia. Hammer, early settlers of that community. She lived most of her life there, until eleven years ago when she came to American Fork to live with her daught-er, being be-ing unable to care for herself. She had a pleasant and sweet disposition and was held in high esteem by people of this community. commun-ity. She was a faithful church member and a wonderful mother. All during her illness she has been a very patient sufferer and was loved by everyone who knew her. She married Henry Ashton June 26, 1885- He died about thirty years ago- She was tire mother of eight children, three of whom survive sur-vive as follows: Warren Ashton of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Ethel Huggard of American Fork, and Marvin Ashton of tills city; sixteen grandchildren grand-children and four great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Margaret Cox of this city. Funeral services were held yesterday at 2 o'clock p. m. in the Lehi First ward chapel and interment was nude in the Lehi cemetery. o |
