Show Cave tours begin at Timp. on May 13 hour to two hours before hiking to the caves during weekends and holidays. Visitors are encouraged to wear sturdy, comfortable com-fortable walking shoes for the strenuous one-and-one-half-mile hike to the caves and to bring sweaters or jackets for the tour through damp, 43 degree F. temperature inside the caves. In addition to cave tours, the area facilities include a visitor center with exhibits, a free 22 minute color video, a 12-minute slide programs, snack bar and gift shop, picnic areas and a short nature trail.
