Show Beary Best players of week named 4 ft - 4.. " ' The Beary Best Players of the Week are selected by the coaches each week. Each player chosen receives a Koala Bear Sundae from Beary Best Ice Cream Parlor and Restaurant in Pleasant Grove. The girl's varsity player this week is Tracie Williamson. J.V. player is Cheryl Beagley. Boy's varsity player is Nathan Ash. J.V. player is Dan Hansgen and sophomore sopho-more player is Derrick Robinson. Tracie h ad agreat week with her rebounding and shooting against Spanish Fork, said Coach Marie Bone. She had nine rebounds and 15 total points. Tracie, at 6'2", plays center. She would like to attend college on an athletic scholarship, and eventually become a physical therapist. Her sports hero is Dylyn n Duncan, a volleyball player at BYU. She is the daughter of Cher and Paul Williamson. Cheryl was the top scorer against Spanish in the J.V. game, with 14 points. Coach Neresa Niel-son Niel-son complimentedheronherinside game and her rebounding. She would like to attend college and go into elementary education. She said that her favorite subjects are English and P.E. She plays center for the J.V. team. Cheryl is the daughter of Roberta and David Beagley. Varsity player Nathan Ash is known for, "skying," on rebounds. Nathan Ash and has great potential as a player. Dan is the son of Fred and Juliene Hansgen. Sophomore player Derek Robinson Robin-son had an exceptional week against the teams in the American Fork tournament. He had 28 points against Bonnev ille, and coach Mike Shoell r,aid that Derek provided some real leadership on the floor during that tournament. Derek is the son of Randy and Jan Robinson. Tracie Williamson Coach Bruce Bushnell said that Nathan had a great week with the games against Provo and Spanish Fork. Bushnell said that Nathan had 23 points against Spanish, and was a big factor in the win with his exceptional rebounding. Nathan is the son of Wayne and Annella Ash.
