Signs of Christmas are appearing appear-ing all tl.iough the community. If you haven't had a chance to see the new lighting downtown, you will have to drive by after dark. The lighting centers around the new library. It is all aglow and it is breathtaking. Christmas trees and decorations are appearing in many public places. Deseret Bank has a new look with trees that look like they are woven. Bouquets of pink colored roses surround the trees. It is definitely a change from a traditional tree with the usual decorations but it is beautiful. The tree located at Wasatch Bank is a beautiful flocked pinion. It is awaiting decorations from the chil dren at Manila Elementary School. They are making decorations for the tree. A tree trimmed with gold beads and pink bows is on display at the City Offices. It has clear lights and little pine cone wreaths. The gals at the office decorated the tree. The city police are enjoying a mammoth flocked pinion pine at the police station. Sherrie Atwood and some of the others decorated the tree. Cody Cullimore noted he put the light on it. All trimmed in Christmas colors, with poinsettias, red balls and red and green plaid bows, the tree is very beautiful. Mary Jensen has seen checking out the tree at the Senior Citizens center. The tree was decorated by girl scouts under the direction of Ruth Hassenfritz. The girls made and twisted the garland out of colored col-ored foil. Multi-colored balls surround sur-round the tree. Favorite childrens books have been added to the magnificent tree located in the library. It is decorated deco-rated in blue and white. The large flocked tree features blue bows and blue poinsettias. It is complete with blue ornaments and sparkling white tinsel. Some of the books noticed would delight a child: Big Bird, Frosty, Red Riding Hood, Rudolph and Bethlehem. It's great to see everyone decorating deco-rating and adding the spirit of Christmas throughout the community. |
