Show DUP hears early convert histories, election planned 1 he Pleasant Grove Camp of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers, held their meeting Monday, Feb. 8. First vice captain Joan Beckstrand took charge of the meeting. Ida Mae Christiansen lead the singing, with Grace Fielding at the piano. Prayer was given by Avera Williams. The lesson was given by Geneva Peterson on the lives of two early converts and pioneers, Benjamin Thomas Clark and Caroline Barns Crosby. Their trials and exepriences, as well as the down in the life of her great granddaughter who read the history to us. Captain Atkinson reported that next month the camp will have elections for officers. They are happy to report that the camp is growing in spite of the fact there are several members who are sick and unable to attend. pleasures and faith promoting experiences, were very interesting. In Mrs. Crosby's history, she tells of having to break up her home seven times to go on missions, which included the South Sea Islands. Rebecca Watson gave a very interesting history of her great grandmother, Drucilla Hendricks. Even as a child, she went to the Lord in prayer for guidance and answers to her problems, asking Him to reveal answers to her in net! dreams. She gave many accounts of her dreams.
