In fact, I believe it is their responsibility, as leaders in our community, to aid in such a function as the rally held in Hadfield's behalf. Editor: I am writing in response to a letter published in this paper last week. I entirely disagree with the point of view expressed by the anonymous writer. From following Alan Hadfield's case, and from studying the facts, I believe that Alan is innocent. Alan Hadfield and his supporters must still believe in the judicial system, or else why even work for a retrial'' If the writer of last week s letter believes in the judicial system so emphatically, then why did he even mention the possibility of court negligence in a retrail? I do not believe that Lehi has been made a "laughing stock," but that it has gained recognition for its cohesiveness during times ot trouble. I feel very secure living in |
