Show Dr. William S. Kirk obituaries ) Denzel A. Brown Dr. William Samuel Kirk, 66, died Nov. 21, 1988 in American Fork. He was born Feb. 19, 1922 in Mohrland, Emery County, to N. Lee and Iris Miller Kirk. He married Helen Elizabeth Sutton Aug. 8, 1947 in Pleasant Grove. The marriage was later solemnized in the Provo LDS Temple. She died Aug. 26, 1977. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He graduated from the University of Utah and the USC Dental School. He practiced dentistry for 40 years. He was an active High Priest in the American Fork 24th Ward. He loved hunting, hun-ting, fishing, gardening and music. He is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Scott (Ann) Goodfellow, Bethesda, Md.; Mrs. Gordon (Mary) Hillyard, Half Moon Bay, Calif.; Sue Kirk, San Diego, Calif.; four grandchildren; his mother of American Fork. Funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 25, at 11 a.m. in the Anderson An-derson & Sons Mortuary, Mor-tuary, 49 E. 100 North, American Fork, where friends may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the American Fork City Cemetery. Brown, 41, died Nov. 19, 1988 in American Fork. He was born May 12, 1947 in American Fork, the son of John Alfred and Delilah Harris Brown. He married Charlotte Mecham Aug. 4, 1970. They were later divorced. He married Patricia Ann Sarr Aug. 28, 1982 in Springville. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War where i he served in the Green Beret's. He was a member of the LDS Church and was self-employed self-employed in the electronic elec-tronic field. He loved fishing. He is survived by his Michael Beck, loaa Charles Beck and Jenifer Beck, all of American Fork; two grandchildren; his father of Alpine; brothers and sisters: Norman and Janice Brown, both of American Fork; Gaylen Brown, Lehi; Johnell Spencer, West Jordan; Dalna Allen, Salt Lake , City. Lake City, died Wed-j Wed-j nesday, Nov. 16, 1988 in Salt Lake City. She was born July 10, 1909 in Lehi, to Olaf Alexander and Catherine Smith Holmstead. She married James Robert Otis Sept. 6, 1940 in Salt Lake City. He died March 13, 1984. She taught school for several years, mostly in Lehi. She is survived by one son and one daughter: Robert M. Otis. Alameda, Calif.; Mrs. Jerry W. (Linda) Nelson, Bountiful; three grandsons. Private family graveside services were held in the Lehi City Cemetery on Saturday, Nov. 19. Dr. Kenneth E. Noyes, 87, passed away Nov. 17, 1988 in the American Fork Hospital. He was born Feb. 26, 1901 in American Fork, to Dr. J.F. and Siddie Chipman Noyes. He married Leona Fjeld of Lehi July 16, 1928. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. After graduating from American Fork High School and the University of Utah in 1925, he transferred to the Jefferson Medical School in Philadelphia, Pa., where in 1927 he received his M.D. degree. He then completed com-pleted a two-year internship in-ternship in the Philadelphia General Hospital. In 1929, Dr. Noyes started his practice with the Union Pacific Railroad doc- In Dec. 1945 he was discharged from the Army as a major and resumed his practice in American Fork. After 38 years of dedicated practice, he suffered a heart attack and had to retire. Since his retirement he has enjoyed gardening, golfing, fishing, reading and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of American Fork; a son, Dr. Robert K. Noyes, DDS, Salt Lake City; daughter, Mrs. Richard (Marcia) Wilde, Arlington, Va.; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren. grand-children. During World War II in Aug. 1942, Dr. Noyes joined the Army and was attached at-tached as an orthopedic surgeon in the 51st Evacuation Hospital.
