Camp at USU this :i0n July I8 the Drum and corps Competition will be held at Weber State College. Band members and their parents are invited to attend this event to see what the band will be trying to achieve then they compete in the fall. Upcoming events include the band camp on Aug. 15 through 17, practices on Aug. 18 to 26 from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., performance at the football game on Aug. 26, and school begins on Aug. 29. At the recent band performance perform-ance at the concert-in-the-park, Fullmer explained that he puts the band members through vigorous physical workouts, in addition to practicing marching and their music, so that they can hold up in long parades and performances. He expressed his pride in the band and what they had been able to accomplish by putting forth long hours of practice and genuine hard work.
