The field trip was under the direction of Loretta Jacobs, who is the Individual Development Commissioner on Central School's PTA Board. In all, 490 students, faculty and PTA board members were in at-tendance. The Nutcracker was performed by the Utah Regional Ballet Company under the direction of Jacqueline Colledge of American Fork. Each year the company opens the first day of their performance to school-ag- e children with tickets at a discount rate (usual price is $7 each). To insure the school's chance of going to the one performance offered, Mrs. Jacobs reserved the seats in October. It was a very fun and exciting day for all of the students. They all wore their Sunday best and showed very good manners while at the university. Most of the children said their favorite parts were the snow scene and the Russian dancers. It was a fun holiday experience for all and the music certainly got everyone in the mood for Christ-mas.
