Show Roxanna G. Peacock obituaries Elbert S. Hales Roxanna Geneva Peacock, 23, died March 6, 1987 in American Fork. She was born July 25, 1963 in Salt Lake City, to Franklin James and Laviena Emma Whittle Peacock. She was a student at the Utah State Training School. She is survived by her parents, Salt Lake City; ' ) i t i two sisters : Brenda Lee and Sandra Dee, both of Sandy; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Arrington, Salt Lake City. Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 10, in the Utate State Training School Chapel. Burial was in the American Fork City Cemetery. Robert Overn Johnson Elbert Stephen Hales, 84, died March 8, 1987 in American Fork. He was born Jan. 5, 1903 in Provo, to Charles Stephen and Mary Davis Hales. He married Kleo Berniece Powell June 8, 1928 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was a member of the American Fork 4th Ward. He served as a ward clerk, stake financial clerk, home teacher and temple worker. He is survived by his wife of American Fork; one son, two daughters: Hales, Calif. He was preceded in death by a son, Carlos P. Hales. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the American Fork 4th Ward, 355 E. 300 North. Friends may call at the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 E. 100 North, American Fork, Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday Thur-sday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Lehi City Cemetery. The family suggests donations be made to the American Fork Hospital. William E. Hales, Pocatello, Idaho; Mrs. Kent (Lois) Brough, Boise, Idaho; Mrs. Paul (Janice) Day, Rochester, Minn.; 25 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one brother: C. Weston : V J Robert Overn Johnson of Lakewood, Colo., died Feb. 28, 1987 in his sleep after a long illness of cancer. He was born to Robert I. (R.I.) and Elvina Johnson in Goldfield, Nevada on Dec. 29, 1917. They settled in Lehi, in 1932 in the Third Ward. He was a graduate of Lehi High School and BYU. He served in the Army Signal Corp. for 26 of Lt. Col. He is survived by his widow, Eve; two children, Stephen of Denver, Colo.; Lynn Cerfling of Phoenix, Ariz, and one grandchild, grand-child, and one brother, Ivan E. Johnson of Idaho Falls, Idaho. His parents are deceased. Military services were held on March 4, 1987 at Fort Logan in Denver. Emma Meyer years attaining the rank Emma Meyer, 103, died Thursday, March 5, 1987 at Larsen's Nursing Home in Lehi. She was born April 18, 1883 in Zurich, Switzerland, Swit-zerland, a daughter of Abraham and Anna Marie Dieticker Meyer. She was a member of the LDS Church and had lived at Larsen's Nursing Home for the past 25 years. There are no immediate survivors remaining. Funeral services were , held Monday, March 9, in the Wing Mortuary Chapel, Lehi. Burial was in the Providence City Cemetery. Rebecca Walker r Rebecca Sue Bundy Walker, 37, died March 8, 1987 in Utah Valley Regional Medical Center. She was born July 31, 1949 in Battle Creek, Mich, to Millard L. and Frances Evelyn Woolf Bundy. She married Ray L. Walker Feb. 29, 1980 in Provo. The marriage was later solemnized in the Provo LDS Temple. She was active in the American Fork Third Ward choir and enjoyed singing. She was a Sunday School and Relief Society teacher. She is survived by her mission in Chile; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Millard Bundy, Provo; a brother, Millard L. Bundy, Jr., Battle Creek, Mich.; and a sister, Lorraine Thurber, Salt Lake City. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the American' Fork Third Ward Chapel, 200 W. 300 North. Friends may call at the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 E. 100 North, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to services.
