P.G. Lions Club inducts new members, enjoys dinner, program The Pleasant Grove Lions Club met Saturday evening Jan. 20, with their ladies and guests. A fine dinner was enjoyed followed by a program. Some songs were sung by Owen Wright. Arlene Jense told us about her involvement with the Christian Children's Fund and the satisfaction she gets by helping those in need. This was a special night where a new member was inducted into the club. Allen Clegg accepted the invitation to become a member and he and his wife, Linda, are welcome additions to Lionism. Grant Atwood is Allen's sponsoring Lion. Who are the Lions? They are volunteer members of clubs grouped under an International In-ternational organization, where they enjoy fellowship, and dedicate part of their free time to help those in need all over the world, while making their individual communities com-munities a better place to live.
