Show Youth injured in motorcycle accident A Pleasant Grove youth received minor injuries Tuesday afternoon when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a car at approximately 1000 E. 200 South, Pleasant Grove, at 2:38 p.m. Officer Lonnie Wilson reported that Sean Hale, 16, was treated at the scene by First Response Officer Dave Vickers and later was taken by his mother to the hospital. He sustained a sprained wrist in the mishap, the officer said. According to the report, a car driven by Jessica Bishop, 17, Pleasant Grove, attempted a U-turn and she stated she did not see the motorcycle coming. The motorcycle struck the drivers side door and then the Hale youth was thrown over the top of the car and landed on the roadway on the other side. The car ended up in a ditch, the officer noted. Damage to the car was set at $1,000 and there was $600 damage to the motorcycle, Officer Wilson said. Jessica had some minor bruises as a' result of the "accident and "wai treated at the scene. |
