"We don't even know how to describe it, it's so different" "We enjoyed it very much" are only some of the comments com-ments received from Pageant patrons this year. The Hummels, as always when presented, are among the top favorites of most Pageant goers. Also among the favorite pieces are the Normal Rockwell reproductions. reproduc-tions. New this year are the selections on "Bavaria: Land of Castles and Kings" which have been accompanied ac-companied by slides showing the area behind the "Tribute to Ludwig II." The opening reproduction of' Josiah Wedgwoods "Wedgwood Pendant" and the closing reproductions of Harry Anderson's "Christ in Gethsemane". and Michelangelo's sculpture of "La Pieta" also have brought favorable comment from Pageant goers. All-in-all the intermixture of sculpture pieces and paintings have again proved to be a successful formula for the production. |
