Another show of Mrs. Eatough's work will be on display in the Sandy City Hall March 1 through March 30. Although Mrs. Eatough has always had a love of art and color, she had not painted until she and her husband took her widowed mother to a class to help her find a hobby. Since that lime she has studied with 23 teachers, including Jack Vigos, Gary Kapp, Lee Parkinson. Frank Erickson, Floyd Breinholl and Bill Kirkpatrick. Inspiration for her paintings come from a wide area. Many of the paintings were done of the area of the Clearwater River in Idaho, where the couple was assigned on a mission for the LDS Church in 1980-81. 1980-81. Many of Mrs. Eatough's landscapes, land-scapes, seascapes, florals and a few portraits hang in homes, schools, offices and churches. Two of her paintings now hang in the LDS Provo Temple. |
