Show : Local police investigate thefts, vandalism Pleasant Grove Police are 6 investigating the theft of a Be Blackhawk .357 Magnum pistol t, and holster from Dennis Bills, 135 '.'s W. Hale Drive. Police said the gun was valued at $135. The theft was reported Jan. 27. Officer Cody Cullimore is investigating the theft. DeonBezzant, 163 N. 300 W., told police that several items were stolen from his locker at Pleasant Grove High School. Taken were an :fore aluminum baseball bat valued at ghk $47, a baseball glove worth $40 and a catchers glove valued at $60. Officer Cody Cullimore investigated this report, also. Lt. Tom Paul arrested one female juvenile for assault following an incident at Pleasant Grove Junior High School. The girl has been referred to Juvenile Court. Officers have arrested one adult male for contributing to the delinquency " of a minor and possession of marijuana and arrested one female juvenile for possession of marijuana and possession of alcohol. The incident occurred on Jan. 25. Alpine School Dsitrict reported the theft of a fire extinguisher from Glen Newman's school bus. The bus was ' also vandalized in a separate incident. The headlights of the bus were shot out with a B.B. gun on Jan. 23. The theft occurred on Jan. 24. The extinguisher was valued at $50 and the headlights at $20. Det. Sgt. Steve Frampton is following up the investigation. Officer Bert Bean was called in Frampton that windows had been shot out of his home. Value of the windows was set at $200. Three juveniles have been arrested in the incident. Denise Bronson, 599 E. 100 S., also reported that a window in her home had been shot. Damage was estimated at $170. One juvenile has been arrested and referred to juvenile court. Keri Elliot, 55 Adams Lane, told Officer Bean that a Graphic Equalizer had been stolen from her vehicle. A red tool box with many tools was also taken. The value of the items was set at $150. when an attempted burglary was reported at Nortons Store. Det. Frampton is working on the case and reports that there are suspects. No entry was made to the store. Several incidents of vandalism have been reported to the police where B.B. guns or pellet guns have been involved. Chief Mike Ferre reminds parents that it is unlawful ; to shoot these types of guns within the city limits.
