Wride AMERICAN FORK-Elean- (Nellie) May Willden Ivie, 88, beloved and adored mother, and grandmother, died Dec. 4, 1982 in American Fork Hospital. She was born August 10, 1894 in Beaver, Utah to Ellott and Christeina Brown Willden. She married Frank J. Ivie April 21, 1917. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died Dec. 21, 1963. She lived in Beaver until 1954 and has lived in American Fork for 28 years and with her son's family for the past four years. She was a member of the American Fork Third LDS Ward and held many teaching positions. She served in the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Survivors include one son and one daughter, Mrs. LaMar (Eleanor) Lund, Lehi; Coy W. Ivie, American Fork; ten grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Two sons, one daughter, and one grandchild and one great grandchild proceeded her in death. Funeral services were Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Anderson and Sons Mortuary Chapel. Graveside services were held Wednesday in the Mountain View Cemetery in Beaver. Fred Hayward, Texas; Mrs. Mary Dalton, Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Byron (Dorothy) Nelson, Provo; Mrs. David (Ida) Wagstaff, American Fork; Mrs. Thayne (Louise) Bateman, Alpine. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the American Fork Stake Center, 240 South Center St. Friends may call at the An-derson and Sons Mor-tuary, 49 East 1st North Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and at the Stake Center Friday one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Provo City Cemetery. AMERICAN FORK-Margar- Hayward Wride, 78, died Dec. 7, 1982. She was born Nov. 20, 1904 in Bountiful to Charles and Martha Hepworth Hayward. She married Elwyn Wride Feb. 19, 1926 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was a member of the American Fork Seventeenth Ward, a member of Bea Orchis and Cultural Arts Club. She was a temple worker in the Provo LDS Temple. She is survived by her husband, four sons and two daughters: Bert Elwyn Wride, Isaquah, Wash.; Evan Hayward Wride, Simi Valley, Calif.; Charles Hayward Wride, Pleasant View: Mrs. Willis L. ' (Afton) Wright, Salt Lake City; Dale Hayward Wride, North Ogden, Utah; Mrs. Gordon (Norma) Steiner, Rexburg, Idaho. Twenty one grandchildren and one great grandchild. Four brothers and four sisters, Frank Hayward and Lloyd Hayward, both Salt Lake City; Wilson Hayward, Lehi; Douglas W. Nash Richfield, Utah; Mrs. Gordon (Marilyn) Norman, San Ramon, Calif. Funeral services were held Wednesday. Burial was in the American Fork City Cemetery. I - i .' AMERICAN FORK-Dougla- s Wadley Nash, age 57, died Dec. 5, 1982 at St. Marks Hospital. He was born Feb. 15, 1925 in Pleasant Grove to Theo LaVern and Cora Wadley Nash. He married Shirley Beck August 1947 in Reno, Nevada. They were later divorced. He was an automobile salesman in North Utah County for many years. He was a member of the LDS Church, and live stock-man - sheep and far-ming. He is survived by his mother, one son and one daughter, Gregory Douglas Nash, Moab; Cheryl Jane Nash, American Fork. One granddaughter, one brother, Reese T. Nash, American Fork, two sisters, Mrs. Marvin (Vera) Salisbury, MARGARET WRIDE Hannah B. Monson 1 , ' , , I DOUGLAS W.NASH Helen Dalton services PLEASANT GROVE-Hanna- h Bothilda Monson, 87, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1982 in Orem. She was born Feb. 24, 1895 in Pleasant Grove to Swen and Hannah Swenson Risberg Monson. She was an active member of the LDS Church and did genealogy and temple work. She served an LDS mission to Canada and two stake missions. She lived in Salt Lake City for many years working for Troy Laundry Co. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Olpin Family Mortuary. Burial was in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Bishop John Goodman of the Manila Fourth Ward. Pallbearers included Merlin A. Whitby, Emery Andrews, Keith Monson, Jack Monson, Earl Matthews and Vaughn Myers. The family prayer was given by Jack Monson, the invocation was by Calvin M. Whitby, the benediction by Austin F. Whitmer and dedication of the grave by George Elwood Monson. The prelude and postlude was by Kathleen Adams; a vocal duet comprised of Susan Haycock and Carol Swenson and accompanied by Lucy Haycock was performed and an organ medley was played by Lucy Haycock. The life sketch was given by LaRee W. Whitmer. Other speakers were Eldred G. Bergeson and Ronald B. Strong. Helen Dalton, 69, passed away Sunday, December 5, at the American Fork Hospital. She was born May 11, 1913 at Monticello, San Juan County, qrhry' Theodore and Harriett Dalton. '' She had resided in Lehi for many years. Survivors include a brother, Wesley T. Dalton, Salt Lake City; a sister, Sybil Olsen, Windsor, Calif. ; and several nieces and nephews in St. George. Graveside services will be held today in St. George at the City Cemetery. Keith LaComb services Vernie B. Williams Funeral services were held for Keith LaComb at noon, Thursday, Dec. 2, 1982 in the Highland 2nd Ward Chapel. Bishop Glen S. Thurgood officiated. The family prayer was offered by Douglas Dumas. Prelude and postlude music was offered by Max Buhler. Bishop Russell Gerber gave the in-vocation. The biographical sketch was given by Gregory Walkenhorst. A music medley followed by Juel Cook, Susan Haycock, Shalona Robinson, acc. by Mary Ann Larsen. They sang, "A Family is Forever" and "I May Never Pass This Way Again." Speakers were John Rekoutis, Mont Gun-derso- n and Elder Vaughn J. Feather-ston- e, with remarks by Bishop Thurgood. The songs "Through the Years," and "To Dream the Impossible Dream" were sung by Todd Shoemaker ac-companied by Max Buhler. Benediction was by President Thayne Bateman with dedication of the grave by President Dennis Sampson! Pallbearers were Bill Turner, Byron Tempest, Gary LaComb, Blaine Sc-hmidt, Gregory Walkenhorst, Douglas Dumas. Honorary pallbearers were Lawrence Latimer, Devin Durrant, Jay Gammett, Ron Beesley, Dr. Marshall Willis, Wilford Walkenhorst, Alden Adams, Lester Moore, Kay Dickerson. Resting place is Larkin Sunset Gardens in Sandy. Funeral was directed by Wing Mortuary, Lehi. PLEASANT GROVE-Verni- e Velate Barrett Williams, 77, of Pleasant Grove died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 1982 in Orem. . She was born on May 10, 1905 in Logan to Albert and Elsa Marie Olsen Barrett. She married Benjamin H. Williams on Nov. 27, 1929 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died Dec. 27, 1975. She was a member of the LDS Church. She attended schools in Logan. She married and moved to Salt Lake County where she spent most of her life, moving to Pleasant Grove, in 1975. Survivors include a son and daughter: Henry Williams, Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Udell (LaVerne) Call, Harbor City, Calif.; seven grandchildren, 10 great grandchidlren; one sister, Mrs. Ester Jorgensen, Logan. The funeral was held Friday at 11 a.m. in the Olpin Family Mortuary. Burial was in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Bishop Richard Warnick of the Pleasant Grove First Ward. Pallbearers were Douglas Call, Steve Call, Jeffrey Jarman, Timothy Williams, Stephen Williams, and Shyrton Whiteley. The family prayer was by Udell Call, the invocation by Jeff Jarman, benediction by Timothy Williams and dedication of the grave by Bishop Warnick. The prelude and postlude was played by Ila Nipper; vocal duets were sung by Bill and Mary Cobabe ac-companied by Ila Nipper, Remarks were given by Bishop Warnick, a tribute was presented by Velate Callicott; a speaker was Peter Bullock and a tribute was by Linda Baxter. STOCKINGS- - Emma Parker, a Volunteer Auxiliary member at the American Fork Hospital, tries Christmas stockings on new babies Jenny Webster, Thad Lambert and Nathan David Miller, All babies born at the hospital will go home in the holiday attire between now and Christmas, Mrs, Parker made the stockings. Holiday attire for babies Babies born at the American Fork Hospital between now and the day after Christmas will go home already for placing beneath the Christmas tree. LaRae Greenwood, Volunteer Auxiliary at the hospital, said large red and white flannel Christmas stockings, complete with pom-poms and draw string, have been presented to the hospital's maternity ward by auxiliary members. The stockings were made by Emma Parker, a member of the auxiliary. The stockings have become a tradition al the medical facility, Mrs. Greenwood said, with several mothers-to-b-often checking to U out when the holiday attire will be given out in hopes their baby d arrive at the right time. Approximately H babies are expected tt be born at the hospital during December, i was noted. The holiday wrappitf is given to nurses on Ok maternity ward so they are readily available when the babies and their mothers leave the facility.
