" 1 "Every year I think this is the best the Pageant could ever be, but every year you come up with something: even better,"' enthused Governor Scott M. Matheson, as he enjoyed a backstage visit following a performance per-formance of the Utah Pageant of the Arts which was dedicated to he and his wife last Tuesday. The Governor and his first lady have been-Ioyai been-Ioyai supporters of this cultural arts even long before he became the state's "First CItizenf'' and has done- much, to promote the cultural arts event throughout the state.. "Norma and I have been supporters of the Pageant of the Arts;. since you; began,'" said Governor Matheson,. "and we think, this is one of the finest ami most professional performances per-formances in the west." The Governor and his party were greated by Pageant, well wishers both, before and after the performance and voiced their pleasure im their backstage visits where a four panel' painting, "The Market Children of Mexico"" had been, arranged for bis examination!..
