The movie "The Empire Strikes Back" will be shown at 7:30 p.m. so bring your pillows. A dance will follow and refreshments will be served. Tmdi Clegg To Marry Dwight Brown Trudi Ann Clegg, daughter of Myron and Patsy Clegg, of Pleasant Grove, will become the bride of John Dwight Brown, son of Steve and Allie Brown, of Loa, on Friday, June 19. A garden reception will honor them that evening at the home of the bride's parents, 156 North 1300 East, Pleasant Grove, from 7 til 9 p.m. All friends and relatives of the couple are invited to attend. An open house will further honor the couple on June 20 in Loa at the Loa Stake Center from 8:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. with dancing all evening. Special guests will be grandparents of the bride, Mrs. Arch Beckstrom of Benjamin and Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn Johnson of Chester. Attending the bride will be Shelli Vonda Cummings, Peggy Chappel, Ramona Brown, Lorna Osborne and Julie Bird. Flower girls will be Laura and Mary Ann Chappel. The duties of best man will be performed by the brother of the groom, Dwayne Brown. Prenuptial showers have been given by Shelli Santamaria, Alice Johansen and Rachel Adams. Trudi attended Pleasant Grove High School and graduated from the Master Academy. She hopes to be able to open a pre-school after her marriage. Dwight graduated from Wayne High School and Utah Technical College. He is in the process of opening his own automobile salvage yard. The couple will make their home in the Richfield area. Philip Carrol To Take Mapleton Bride Mary Ann Bills, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard (Dick) Bills of Mapleton, will marry Philip G. Carroll, son of Mrs. Marguerite Carroll of Pleasant Grove and Mr. George P. Carroll, Arlington, Va., on Thursday, June 11. A reception will honor the couple at the Mapleton Second-Sixt-h Ward Church, 1215 North 1000 West, later that evening from 7:30 until 9:30 p.m. The newlywed couple will be further honored at an open house at the home of the groom's mother, 660 East 200 was active in gym-nastics and dance. She is currently employed by a dentist in Spanish Fork. The groom is a graduate of Pleasant Grove High School, where he is active in sports and music. Christie is a tourism and travel industry management student and filled a mission for the LDS Church in the Spain-Barcelon- a Missi-on. Her finance is an English major and plans to go to law school.
