Show A' f Bridge Building Contest Sponsored by Y Sponsored by the Department Depar-tment of Civil Engineering of Brigham Young University, the annual bridge building contest was held at Pleasant Grove High School on February 22. There were 29 students who build bridges and participated in the contest. con-test. Pleasant Grove students have shown improvement each year they have participated. par-ticipated. There are fourteen high schools in the state that participate in this contest. This year the winner was a repeat from last year. Jeff Brereton whose bridge held 750 P.S.I, also won second place at 715 P.S.I, and walked off with $40 case first and second place. Jeff Smith and Robert Keate were co-builders co-builders on the third place bridge which held 624 P.S.I, and won $10 for their effort.
