NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ESTABLISH THE UTAH COUNTY SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL SPECIAL SERVICE DISTRICT UTAH COUNTY, UTAH NOTICE is hereby given to all persons interested that on November 10, 1976 the Board of County Commissioners of Utah County, Utah, adopted a resolution declaring that the public health, convenience convenien-ce and necessity requires the establishment of a Special Service District in said County Coun-ty for the purpose of handling garbage and solid waste and other related problems within the area thereof and providing for the holding of a public hearing on the establishment of such Special Service District at the regular meeting place of the Board of County Commissioners in the County Commission Chambers, Cham-bers, Room 311, County Building, Provo, Utah, at 10:00 a.m. on December 10, 1976. The name of the District shall be Utah County Solid Waste Special Service District. The Special Service District to be established pursuant to ' the provisions of 11-23-1 et seq. of the Utah Code Annotated An-notated for the purpose of garbage and solid waste disposal services and other related problems. The boundaries proposed for such Special Service District are described as follows: (Statutory description descrip-tion of Utah County (Section 17-1-28, Utah Code Annotated, An-notated, 1953): Beginning at the point of intersection in-tersection of the Wasatch range with the summit of the range crossing from the Wasatch to the Oquirrh mountains, thence westerly along said last mentioned men-tioned summit to the summit of the range between the Cedar and Spanish Fork Payson Goshen Santaquin Salem Mapleton Genola Alpine With respect to the Utah County Solid Waste Special Service District described hereinabove, a tax sufficient to pay for services to provide garbage and solid waste disposal services to residents of Utah County on an extended exten-ded basis, will be annually levied upon all taxable property within said District or a service charge will be collected from the users of the services, or a combination of the property tax and service ser-vice charge will be used. Notice is hereby given to all persons interested that on the 10th day of December, 1976, at 10:00 a.m. a public hearing on the establishment of said Special Service District shall be held in the County Commission Chambers, Cham-bers, Room 311, County Building, Provo, Utah. This notice adopted pursuant pur-suant to Title 11-23-8, Utah Code Annotated, 1953 as amended this 12th day of Rush valleys; thence southerly along said summit to the summit of the range between the Tintic valley and the Goshen and Cedar valleys; thence southerly along said last mentioned summit to, and thence easterly along, the summit between Goshen and Juab valleys to, and thence northeasterly nor-theasterly along, the summit of the high ground and range of mountains between Utah and 1 Juab valleys to the summit of the Nebo range; thence southeasterly along said summit to the line between townships 11 and 12 south; thence east to the line between ranges 9 and 10 east; thence north to the township town-ship line between townships 10 and 11 south; thence west to a point due south of the point where the wagon road from Spanish Fork to White river as it existed in February, 1880, crossed the summit of the divide south of the Strawberry valley; thence north to said last mentioned men-tioned point of crossing; thence northwesterly along the summit |
