Show THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, 1972 PLEASANT GROVE REVIEW, PLEASANT GROVE, UTAH THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, 1972 Golden Keys Hold Monthly Meeting On September 15 The Golden Keys held their monthly meeting on Sept. 15 at the home of Carol Adamson. Special guest speakers were Ann Richardson and Dwyla Bogh. These ladies are color personality consultants. Club members were treated to a very exciting evening talking about colors and the colors that suited each mem-ber's personality. There were discussions on everything that is important to a woman's and appearance, complexion, color, clothes, per-fume, jewelry, lipstick and all things enjoyed in the home. It was a very interesting even-ing for each member. Attending the meeting were Lillian Wadley, Loretta Car-ter, Barbara Lewis, Carol Sor-enso- n, Jane Smith, Gayle Hold-awa- y, Leone Rutledge, Betty Whiteley, Karen Albrecht, and the hostess, Carol Adamson. '''' ' ' ': -a ' i ' 1!- - j MISS JANET STONE AND GAIL C. HARDINGER Janet Stone and Gail C. Hardinger Plan Manti Temple Wedding Oct. 6 Mr. and Mrs. Lynn S. Stone of Orem, are announcing the engagement of their daughter Janet to Gail C. Hardinger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Hard-inger of Pleasant Grove. The couple plan to be mar-ried in the Manti Temple. A reception will be held in their honor Friday, Oct. 6 at the Castle in Camelot, 1440 W. 800 North in Provo. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. After a short honeymoon the couple will make their home in Santa Ana, Calif. The bride-to-b- e is a gradu-ate of Orem High School and LDS Seminary. In high school she was a member of The Thes-pians, GAA and Concert Band. She is now a sophomore at Brigham Young University. Anna Lee Taylor will be her maid of honor and Judy Car-ter, Barbara Oxborrow, Laura Moses, Susan Gillies and Jo Lyn Stone will be bridesmaids. Mr. Hardinger is a graduate of Pleasant Grove High School and LDS Seminary. He was chosen as a member of the All Region Football team. Hay-wort- h announce the marriage of their niece Branda L. Purl to Marvin L. Hurd, son of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin H. Hurd of American Fork. The young couple were mar-ried Wednesday, Sept. 27 in the Salt Lake Temple with the ceremony being conducted by Pres. Robert L. Backman of Salt Lake. A reception will be held in their honor this evening, Thurs-day, Sept. 28 in the Lindon Church multi-purpos- e room. Attending the bride will be Diane Giles as maid of honor, Debbie and Sheri Hayworth, Jean Peaslee, Nancy Hurd as bridesmaids. Tina and Ann Peaslee will be the flower girls George Peaslee and Voyne Madsen will serve as best men and Sandra Stone will be at the guest book. Branda is a graduate of the Pleasant Grove High School and Seminary. Marvin has served an LDS mission for the LDS Church, in the Oregon Mission. He is now working as a security guard at the Air National Guard base in Salt Lake City. He is a graduate of Granite High School and the Granite LDS Seminary, four year pro-gram. Evans are happy to announce the marriage of their daughter Bar-bara LaRae to Maurice Jay Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Jay Smith of American Fork. The young couple will be married on Friday, Sept. 29 at the American Fork Training School LDS Church. Standing as maid of honor will be Lor-raine Hunt. Bridesmaids will be Chris Smith, Deorha Sher-wood and flower girl will be Kathy Lyn Evans, a cousin of the bride. Best man will be the bride's brother, Brent McKay Evans. The young couple plan to make their home in American Fork, where the groom is now employed. Jarma Pollmann, C. R. Jacobsen Wed on Sept. 23 The family of Mrs. Jarma Pollmann are happy to an-nounce her marriage on Sept. 23 to C. R. (Pat) Jacobsen of Bountiful, Utah. The mar-riage was performed by Bishop Nyle Harris with her parents, her sons and their wives pres-ent. After a brief honeymoon they will make their home in Bountiful. Wood-bury of Pleasant Grove are an-nouncing the forthcoming mar-riage of their daughter Cath-erine to Carl L. Paystrup of Orem. Carl is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph S. Paystrup. Their marriage will be sol-emnized in the Provo LDS Temple Thursday, Oct. 5. A luncheon will be given in their honor at the Royal Inn, Provo. A reception will be held that evening, honoring the couple, in the Lindon LDS Cultural Hall, Lindon, Utah. The bride is a graduate of the Pleasant Grove High School and LDS Seminary, and also of Darrell's Beauty College in Or-em. She is now employed at Belva's Beauty Salon in Amer-ican Fork. The bridegroom graduated from Orem High School, filled an LDS mission to Ohio, and is now a senior at the Brig-ha- m Young University. I - ": f ROYCE SWENSON AND ANN LARSEN Royce Swenson and Ann Larsen Set Wedding Rites for Salt Lake Temple Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F. Olli-vie- r of Pleasant Grove an-nounce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Ann Larsen to Royce Swenson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wesley O. Swenson of Lindon. The couple are planning a September 29 marriage in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. An op-en house will honor them that same evening at the Orem Re-ception Centre. The bride-elec- t is a gradu-ate of Pleasant Grove High School. She has competed the L.P.N, course at Utah Technic-al College, and is currently employed for a Doctor in Pleas-ant Grove. The prospective bridegroom is also a graduate of Pleasant Grove High. He has attended College of Southern Utah, and The University of Salzberg with BYU foreign students de-partment. Upon his recent graduation form BYU he was commissioned a Second Lieut, in the United States Air Force. While attending BYU he was active in Arnold Air Soc-iety, and The Footprints of Freedom. He has served an LDS mission to Swenden. The couple will make their first home in Sacramento, Cal. Royce is stationed at Mather AFB where he is receiving his flight training as a navigation officer. |
